Web refresh of HMH Trades online bookstore with a focus on creating a virtual reader community and retain the literary tradition of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and to establish its leadership position in the global book publishing market.
The final outcome is far better than we had had set out initially.

- HMH was behind their competitors in many aspects
- The website was difficult to maintain and update
- HMH had the content but nobody could find it or use it easily
- The website looked outdated and some of the content was very old
- Search was not working as expected
